Marty grew up around construction and plumbing, learning the trade from a young age while working alongside his family in Arizona. From early on, he developed a strong understanding of how homes are built and how systems work together.

After settling in Flagstaff, he gained hands-on experience across a wide range of projects, learning how to handle the unique challenges of high-altitude homes and cold winters.

In 2003, he earned his contractor’s license and started Mortensen Custom Plumbing.

Since then, his focus has stayed the same. Do the job right, stand behind the work, and treat every home with care and respect.
